DAY 1 - Arrive Bucharest (Transfer to Hotel)
Welcome to Bucharest! Arrive at the airport in Bucharest and on the way to your hotel, revel in a guided sightseeing tour to explore some of the city’s top landmarks.
In the afternoon, after checking-in at your selected hotel, we’ll take a stroll through the mesmerising old town of Bucharest. Lose yourself amidst the plethora of charming terraces and restaurants in the area.
In the night, head back to your hotel and unwind with a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 2 - City tour of Bucharest with Parliament and Village museum tour and Evening at Famous club
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, begin your delightful half-day tour of Bucharest. Stop at the Palace of the Parliament, which is known to be the second-largest building in the world after the Pentagon, in terms of built area!
During the second part of the day, you will get a chance to explore the Village Museum, and travel back in time to the traditional medieval villages from the past, built in a unique architectural style.
As the sun goes down, make a beeline towards one of the most famous clubs in Bucharest –Bellagio! Hands down, one of the most exclusive clubs of the capital, November through May, Bellagio is the ultimate destination for upscale party animals in Bucharest!
After a memorable day and night, retire back to your hotel for some sound sleep.
DAY 3 - Full day Dracula tour
Enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfast, get ready for the thrilling Dracula tour, which will give you a comprehensive insight into Romanian medieval legends, the myth of Dracula being the most famous one!
Walk in the footsteps of the bloodthirsty Prince Vlad Tepes. Visit the famous Bran Castle or Dracula’s Castle, a magnificent fortress towering above the main road that leads to Transylvania.
In order to enjoy an unforgettable night, the best choice is Chaboo – the largest club in Bucharest, which has a capacity to hold over 4000! Chaboo, is known for stunning Broadway-inspired themes that add a fantastic touch to the already extravagant décor, and the remarkable outfits and dance performances.
After you’re done partying, head back to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
DAY 4 - River Rafting or Carpathians mountains excursion
Savour a delicious buffet breakfast at your hotel, and then, depending on the weather conditions, get ready to enjoy either a River Adventure Activity or an Off-roading Tour to Carpathians.
River Adventure: Enjoy a sensational rafting tour along Buzau River, rubbing shoulders with waves almost 2 meters tall, unpredictable obstacles, a spectacular scenery, and plenty of thrills!
The length of the route is 15 km, with degrees of difficulty varying between low and high. However, worry not, since you shall be accompanied by professional guides who are not only familiar with the river, but are also certified by the International Rafting Federation. Regardless of age, physical condition or experience, anyone can participate in this exciting tour.
On the way back, enjoy a memorable stop at the famous Mud Volcanoes, and witness how the massive bubbles of mud make the ground boil.
Offroad in Carpathians: Revel in this epic tour and discover the natural treasures of the Carpathian, with a mesmerising off-road trail that winds up to an altitude of 2000 meters!
In the company of Romanian natives, discover the area and listen the interesting facts they share about the history, geography, flora and fauna of region.
We shall be visiting a sheepfold, a far-flung place up in the mountains where the shepherds live in isolation for most time of the year, relying on dogs that are specially trained to defend them from wolves and bears.
On this tour, enjoy a lifetime opportunity of seeing shepherds prepare traditional dishes made of cheese, and also taste different types of cheese, accompanied by wine or drinks made from wild fruits.
After a fulfilling day-out head back to your hotel, and spend a comfortable night.
DAY 5 - Salt Mine tour followed by Wine tasting tour
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit Slanic Prahova – known to be the biggest salt mine in Europe, and is also one of the most famous tourist attractions in Romania. This sprawling salt mine is formed out of 14 rooms, trapezium shaped, with an opening of 32 meters at the basis, 10 meters at the ceiling, and a height of 45 meters.
Later we shall proceed to the wine region Dealu Mare (“Big hill”), which is one of the oldest and most popular wine-growing districts in Romania. Referred to as the “Tuscany” of Romania, Dealu Mare is indeed situated on the same latitude as Northern Italy.
This charming wine region boasts of more than 3000 years of history, a beautiful Mediterranean climate from April to October, and delicious wines.
Pay a visit to two of Romania´s best wineries, and learn everything you can about wine production, and also sample internationally-awarded Romanian premium wine.
After a memorable wine tasting session, it’s time for some shopping! Bucharest houses numerous designer brands, as well as an array of local fashion designers, who are appreciated even at Hollywood. Shop till you drop at these glitzy stores.
In the evening, we recommend you revel in a stroll through the old historical centre. Spend some relaxed, leisure time amidst the friendly atmosphere of the local pubs and cafés bustling with youngsters!
You will then be assisted back to your hotel, where you will be staying overnight.
DAY 6 - Departure Bucharest (Transfer to airport)
Your memorable Romanian holiday comes to an end today! Feast on a mouth-watering breakfast at the hotel, and then enjoy a comfortable transfer to the airport for your return flight back home, or to your next destination.
